  • Unemployment claims in Indiana increased last week with 7,593 initial filings compared to 4,665 the previous week, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.  South Bend Tribune
  • According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the average price for regular gasoline in the Midwest region increased to $2.60 per gallon last week from $2.58, and is now roughly 6.3% below the national average while also recording a 10% drop over the past year.  South Bend Tribune
