  • A tornado struck Cass County on March 6 near Edwardsburg and killed 12-year-old Silas Anderson after he was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend + Cass County declared a state of emergency amid widespread damage and power outages in the region.  South Bend Tribune

  • The Caledonia Kilty Pipe Band practices in South Bend today as bagpiper Chuck Nyers shares his long history with the group — he previews plans for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day weekend schedule.  South Bend Tribune
  • The Caledonia Kilty Pipe Band practiced at the Luther J. Taylor Fire Training Center on Tuesday, Mar. 3 in South Bend as it prepared for its competitive season. Pipe major Sean Meehan led the session while members tuned bagpipes and read sheet music.  South Bend Tribune
