- ➤ South Bend shows Irish pride as the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Niles Avenue is temporarily renamed — Saint Patrick's Day Boulevard — even though the parade may be postponed. - ➤ Chef LaQuisha Jackson opened a new culinary school in South Bend today to teach cooking skills to students from underserved communities. One of her students said the program offers hands-on classes and career training—expecting more opportunities soon. South Bend Tribune
