- ➤ Currant Road between Cleveland + Woods Trail is closed today in Granger for paving near the railroad crossing, and crews expect to reopen the road on March 30. WSBT

- ➤ Carson Towt, the former Notre Dame power forward, signed as a free agent with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, Mar. 17. He will try to join the 53-man roster as a backup tight end. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ Former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz died on March 4 at age 89 in South Bend, and former player Shawn Wooden said (he credited his mentor with life lessons beyond the game) as he honored Holtz’s enduring legacy at local services. South Bend Tribune
