- ➤ William Tyes Jr., 27, was arrested on Thursday by St. Joseph County police for allegedly confining a victim and carjacking a vehicle while using a deadly weapon — a warrants team working with U.S. Marshals and a K9 unit found him on the 1200 block of North College in South Bend. ABC 57
- ➤ South Bend Police said early Thursday that a South Bend Fire Department vehicle was stolen from a house fire scene on the 1800 block of Carroll Street and later found on the 1100 block of E. Calvert Street—an individual in the vehicle was taken into custody. ABC 57
