COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Ghost, a playful 7‐month‐old stray dog, is available for adoption at the South Bend Animal Resource Center. He gets along with cats and other dogs and will be neutered and updated on vaccinations.  WSBT

CULTURE NEWS

  • South Bend and nearby areas host a busy week of local events from March 23-29 with film screenings at Vickers Theatre, live music at Blue Gate and Stockroom East, and family activities at Silver Beach Carousel and Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum — offering something for all ages.  South Bend Tribune

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Starting today, Tulip Road is closed at the railroad tracks between US-20 and Edison Road while NIPSCO crews repair a gas line — work is expected to finish by April 6.  WSBT
  • The city approved a $250,000 allocation for designing a new bandshell at Howard Park to boost outdoor concert and play events; construction may begin next year. City officials are now seeking grants and donations to cover the estimated 5 million-dollar cost.  ABC 57
