- ➤ The Equity Arts program at The Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend will host the second annual South Bend High School Music Festival on Monday March 31—more than 250 high school students will perform in 12 musical ensembles with free admission and doors opening at 7 p.m.—. ABC 57
- ➤ The IREAD test is now mandatory for all Indiana third-graders to measure foundational reading skills and for second-graders who must attend summer school if they do not pass. School officials advise parents to read with their children daily as the next testing window runs May 12 through June 27. South Bend Tribune
