- ➤ South Bend is hosting the annual AG Days event this weekend that shows how food and goods are made with demonstrations of crop picking, livestock care, and the use of farming machines. The event returns tomorrow at the Saint Joseph County 4H fairgrounds at 11 a.m. ABC 57
- ➤ On Saturday, April 5, thousands of local protestors gathered along Indiana 933 in South Bend for a national 'Hands Off!' rally. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ Starting April 11, local churches and community centers in South Bend and nearby will host family events—egg hunts, brunches, rides, and more—to celebrate Easter, with some events requiring pre-registration and tickets. Families can join free or ticketed activities through Easter Sunday, April 20, to enjoy the season together. South Bend Tribune

- ➤ The Collegiate Robotic Football Conference National Championship took place Saturday at Saint Mary's College—top collegiate robotic teams competed for the Brian Hederman Memorial Trophy. The competition was created in honor of Brian Hederman following his tragic car accident in 1995. ABC 57
- ➤ Notre Dame football held a spring scrimmage on Saturday but did not pick a clear starting quarterback as multiple players competed and penalties troubled the game. Coach Marcus Freeman said the team will have more practices before the season opener on August 31 to firm up the lineup. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ Notre Dame football is mixing zone defense with man-to-man plays as Coach Chris Ash trains new players, including returning safety Adon Shuler. - ➤ Notre Dame's offensive line remains in flux as second-year tackle Guerby Lambert underwent shoulder surgery and third-year player Charles Jagusah injured his foot—both incidents reported during Saturday’s practice.
