CULTURE NEWS

  • South Bend Records Show returned today at Gillespie Conference Center, hosting its Spring Vinyl Show with dozens of vendors selling cassettes, CDs, and vintage stereo equipment—bringing music fans together through a nearly 40-year tradition. The event will return on June 1.  ABC 57

HEALTH NEWS

  • Saint Joseph Medical System and Beacon Health System warn many in South Bend may have more allergy symptoms this spring — their experts say tree pollen can trigger reactions as trees bud. They advise keeping allergy medicine on hand and taking steps like wearing a mask — advice that is key for those with severe allergies or asthma.  WSBT

  • At Friday morning practice, Notre Dame junior cornerback Christian Gray described how for 11 days he struggled after a crucial conversion attempt on third down with 11 yards needed in Atlanta when Jeremiah Smith helped lead Ohio State to victory—he said the setback will drive him to improve as he rehabs his foot and prepares for the spring game on April 12. Gray plans to work hard and use the experience to help his team rebound.  South Bend Tribune
