- ➤ Former Notre Dame tight end Mitchell Evans was picked by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the NFL Draft and became an NFL rookie—he recovered from injuries in 2022 and 2023. Evans played four seasons for Notre Dame, recording 72 receptions for 843 yards and four touchdowns in his final two seasons. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ Jack Kiser, a linebacker from Notre Dame who grew up in Royal Center, was picked in the fourth round at 107th overall by the Jaguars on Saturday—he is the third Notre Dame player chosen this season. South Bend Tribune
