Officers responded to a shots fired call at 3:37 a.m. Friday at the intersection of East Grove and Locust Streets and found shell casings outside 615 Locust St. where the house was struck several times—no injuries were reported as police processed the area as an active crime scene.

South Bend police are investigating a shooting just south of downtown on Indiana Avenue just west of Lafayette Boulevard after a man was shot in the arm just before 5 a.m. Friday.
