- ➤ This week, community meals include Food Truck Wednesday on July 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ball Band Biergarten in Mishawaka, Thursday Burger Night on July 3 at Galien American Legion Post 344 in Galien, Red, White & Blue Cornbread Day on July 4 at Bonneyville Mill County Park in Bristol, Pancake & Biscuit Breakfast on July 5 at Galien American Legion Post 344, and a Wine Walk on July 9 in downtown South Bend. Fish fry and food truck events are planned for July 11 at Knights of Columbus in South Bend and at the Ball Band Biergarten in Mishawaka, and a fish and chicken strip fry on July 12 at Galien American Legion Post 344 includes a bake sale. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Early this morning, St. Joseph County Dispatch reported that a fight among three women led to multiple stabbings at N Olive Street and Lincolnway West—two were 30 years old and one was 31, and all were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the Major Crimes Unit investigates. - ➤ Police say a shooting before 1 a.m. at Boland Park injured several people who later went to Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds + investigators are working to learn more about the incident. ABC 57
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Communities in and around South Bend are hosting a full week of festivals and events from today through July 6—ranging from classic car cruise-ins and ghost walks to pickle festivals and fairs with live music and special attractions. Attendees can explore family-friendly activities at venues in Plymouth, Middlebury, Berrien Springs, South Bend, and nearby towns. South Bend Tribune

- ➤ Construction on the Five Corners housing development at North Eddy Street and Corby Boulevard nearly finished on June 26 as photos captured the 108-unit apartment complex in its final building stages.
