- ➤ South Bend and nearby communities will host a week of events from July 21 to July 27 including the Arts in the Street Festival in Plymouth on July 26 that offers art activities and live entertainment—Unity Gardens will hold its Westside BBQ and Craft Fest on July 27 with music, vendors, and plenty of barbecue. - ➤ South Bend has a busy week of local concerts from today through July 27 — the schedule includes student chamber music shows at the St. Joseph County Public Library and IU South Bend’s Northside Hall along with a country performance by Nathan King at Potawatomi Park. - ➤ Adams High School athletic director Dawn Huff (a 1999 graduate and former teacher and girls basketball coach) resigned on July 20 after three years and school officials will announce her replacement before fall sports practices begin. South Bend Tribune

- ➤ Former Notre Dame player Skylar Diggins, a South Bend Washington product, played 21 minutes in the WNBA All-Star game Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and recorded the first triple-double in All-Star history with 15 assists, 11 points and 11 rebounds—her teammates Kayla McBride, Sonia Citron and Jackie Young also played.
