- ➤ After last night's Night of the Stars at Four Winds Casino raised $510,000 for cancer research, the Coaches vs. Cancer charity event continued today in South Bend. - ➤ American Airlines announced that starting Oct. 6, passengers traveling from South Bend International Airport to O’Hare will use a 35‑seat motorcoach provided by The Landline Company — featuring in‑seat power, Wi‑Fi, and leather seats — running four times daily. Passengers will check in by mobile app at SBN and have their bags automatically transferred at O’Hare. ABC 57

- ➤ Ratboys—a band formed at Notre Dame with South Bend ties—will perform on July 31 at Lollapalooza’s Bud Light stage to showcase their mix of indie, folk and country sounds. The band is working on its sixth studio album to be released early next year. ABC 57

- ➤ Former deputy prosecutor Sarah Troyer had a personal relationship with Magistrate Aric Rutkowski while appearing in 862 child support cases from June 2021 to December 2022, and both have since resigned with Rutkowski stepping down from the Probate Court on May 29. The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's office is reviewing these cases and asks anyone with concerns to call (574-235-9786). South Bend Tribune
- ➤ The city of South Bend opened a Financial Empowerment Center inside the Martin Luther King Junior Dream Center to help families with low or moderate incomes manage their finances, pay debts and build savings. Appointments are available in person or over the phone in English and Spanish. ABC 57
