- ➤ At 11:45 a.m. Thursday morning near S.R. 4 and Millet Road, St. Joseph County Police—assisted by Lakeville Police and K9 units from multiple departments—responded to a call about a suspicious man seen pacing outside a home on the 27000 block and trying to enter a black vehicle with a woman before fleeing, and officers later apprehended him with no ongoing public threat. - ➤ South Bend Police launched an investigation after a deadly shooting occurred Saturday morning in the 3900 block of Sheridan Plaza south of the airport, where responders found a man with fatal gunshot wounds — his identity remains withheld pending family notification. WSBT
