- ➤ A couple was charged with the murder of Donovan Russell after an argument over parenting led to the fatal shooting outside a Sheridan Plaza home on Saturday night—officers say Amante Vazquez shot Russell in the head, with Vazquez facing up to 85 years and Savannah Ragan up to 65 years in prison. Freeman explained that while Jagusah is rehabbing from two procedures and will be restricted to side work, building strong team unity remains the main focus — he cares most about the player's recovery. - ➤ Notre Dame’s fall camp on Thursday, July 31 showed quarterbacks Kenny Minchey and CJ Carr struggle with accuracy and decision-making during a 90-minute practice, with both throwing interceptions. Coach Marcus Freeman said he will review the film — noting that mistakes may not be solely on the quarterbacks — before deciding who will succeed Indianapolis Colts rookie draft pick Riley Leonard.
