  • The Downtown South Bend Summer Fitness Series will run on the Gridiron every Saturday until the end of August in partnership with the YMCA of Greater Michiana. The event offers free outdoor classes—yoga at 8 a.m., Zumba at 9 a.m. and high intensity workouts at 10 a.m.—and encourages attendees to bring non-perishable donations for the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.  WSBT

CRIME NEWS

  • South Bend Police are seeking help to locate 22-year-old Armun Taylor, a person with autism last seen around 2 p.m. Saturday in the Brookfield and Keller area on the city's northwest side (he is 6-foot-tall, has brown eyes and short black hair, and wore a dark t-shirt, gray shorts and possible white Crocs sandals).  WSBT

  • Yesterday, South Bend Police fired up grills at Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #36 for their annual corn roast fundraiser—officers cooked fresh ears of corn and served barbecue chicken while the band Blammo played live music and a children’s area offered inflatable slides for kids.  ABC 57
