- ➤ South Bend Police arrested Derrick V Myers (43) Tuesday night at Howard Park after he allegedly threatened parkgoers with a steak knife and charged him with intimidation. WSBT
- ➤ Martel Scott, a 35-year-old man from South Bend, pleaded guilty to distributing a mixture containing methamphetamine sold in South Bend and Mishawaka from July to October 2024 and was sentenced to 16 years and 8 months in prison and 5 years of supervised release—officers found about five pounds of the drug and over $200,000 during his arrest.
