  • Lucas Bradshaw returned to school today with classmates cheering him on as he continues to recover from a serious crash on U-S 20 near Fail Road in LaPorte County—he was hospitalized in Grand Rapids since early May and the man charged in the crash is set to go on trial next month.  WSBT

  • Cinnabon opened near the food court at University Park Mall in Mishawaka on Sept. 10, 2025, with part owner Jaree Kizilbash posing for photos that show the store's drink station and signage—marking its new setup for local shoppers.  South Bend Tribune
  • Latin Business Expo 2025 took place Wednesday at the Northern Indiana Event Center in Elkhart with over 65 businesses gathering to network, share advice, and connect with the Michiana community—organizer Yolo Lopez DeMarco created the event to unite Latino businesses and open new opportunities for entrepreneurs like Sandra Muñoz.  ABC 57

  • Conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot and killed Tuesday during a campus tour stop at Utah Valley University, and college students in South Bend now worry that free speech on campus may suffer.  ABC 57

  • IndyStar’s Super 25 poll ranks top high school football teams ahead of Week 4.
