- ➤ Lake Effect Jazz Big Band will perform at the Box Factory for the Arts on Sept. 20 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.—they will play classic standards by Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie and Pat Metheny. Tickets cost $12 in advance or $15 at the door, and admission is free for those 12 and under—offering local fans a chance to enjoy live jazz. ABC 57
