- ➤ Unity Gardens is hosting the 13th annual Taste of Unity fundraiser — supported by Amazon — at Palais Royale in downtown South Bend on November 13th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The event will feature 20 local chefs offering tapas-style small plates, live music, a silent auction and a cash bar to mark the end of the harvest season. WSBT
- ➤ Retired Navy firefighter Serge Romero met his wife Carol in 1991 when a local bar trade of a beer for Notre Dame game tickets sparked a bond that has lasted 35 years—now the couple will return to Notre Dame Stadium tonight with VetTix support to celebrate a shared love of football, faith and service. - ➤ A community group hosted Wings & Worship at The Welcome Table to offer unlimited wings and a live concert for furloughed federal workers, veterans & first responders as well as families facing food insecurity amid the government shutdown. - ➤ Notre Dame head coach Niele Ivey has built her best recruiting class by landing commitments from five ESPN Top 100 prospects for the class of 2026. The new players (from Texas, Iowa, Georgia and Florida) chose the Irish over several major programs and will help boost the team in the coming season. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ Yesterday, Notre Dame hosted Navy at Notre Dame Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on NBC in their 98th meeting. The historic rivalry continued with the Irish leading the series (83 to 13 to 1) since they first played in 1927. South Bend Tribune
- ➤ Notre Dame football improved its record to 11-1 with a 49-10 win over Navy on a snowy Saturday night at Notre Dame Stadium. Redshirt freshman quarterback CJ Carr threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns as the team built momentum for its next game. South Bend Tribune
