- ➤ Jaworski's Meat Market is holding a closeout sale as it winds down after owner Chris Jaworski passed away on November 28. Large crowds gathered on Friday and the sale will continue today from noon to 6 p.m. – the store's future remains uncertain. WSBT

- ➤ Lovina Eicher recalls that making vanilla ice cream honors family traditions and marks the five-year anniversary of the accident that took her son-in-law Mose while sharing her Peanut Blossoms recipe and noting Susan will celebrate a new marriage on Dec. 30 near the homestead. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Regional gas prices fell for the second week—dropping the regular fuel rate from $2.74 to $2.72 per gallon on Monday, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Prices also showed a 19-cent decline over the past month and remain 7.5% below the national average. South Bend Tribune

- ➤ Portage Township Trustee Jason Critchlow (D) is considering filing a formal complaint with the Indiana attorney general as renters at Karl King tower continue to experience inconsistent heating. Contractors are working on a boiler replacement while city officials collect resident feedback. WSBT
- ➤ Olive Street—closed for water main repairs from Friday until next Friday—forces drivers to detour via State Road 23 between Sample Street and Tucker Drive. WSBT
