- ➤ Chicory Café hosted a Christmas dinner carryout on Wednesday afternoon for nearly 300 people who needed help with holiday meals. The café plans to donate any leftovers to Cultivate food rescue to avoid waste. ABC 57
- ➤ South Bend International Airport had its fourth busiest day ever over the holiday weekend and officials expect Monday and Friday to be busy while travelers are advised to allow extra time for travel + minor lane closures on I-94 near Benton Township may cause delays. ABC 57
- ➤ Food insecurity is growing in St. Joseph County as South Bend pantry lines stretch early with 8,800 new households seeking food this month ahead of the holidays. The Food Bank of Northern Indiana said new SNAP rules will limit candy, pop, and bakery purchases starting Jan. 1. ABC 57

- ➤ Hopebridge, which offers autism treatment services, has released an Autism-Friendly Holiday Guide to help families plan for sensory challenges at Christmas. A therapist (Megan Ziembowicz) said using noise-cancelling headphones and comfort items before busy events can ease overstimulation. WSBT
