- ➤ At Walker Field, locals held the 60th Turkey Bowl where the Old Guys beat the Young Guys and honored a neighbor who passed away last year—players said the game showed what Thanksgiving means to their community. WSBT
- ➤ Firefighters at Station 1 celebrated Thanksgiving by preparing a homemade feast with stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, and pumpkin pie — a tradition that comforts those working away from home as they stayed alert for emergency calls.
